Where is Joy Reid when we need her?

(3,734 posts)so I am not sure I heard this correctly. Did Chris Hayes encourage the Repub. Congressman and the rest of the GOP to run on cutting funds for Medicare and Social Security? If so, I hope Hayes had a sly grin on his face when he made the suggestion.
I love rice pudding.

(7,587 posts)If the repubs were upfront about their intentions to wreck social security and Medicare they would never get elected. Instead they always manage to be sly about it and make their voters think it's all the democrats fault.

(2,078 posts)Posters actually believe Hayes was advocating the policies, when he instead was advocating running on those policies.
There is a huge difference to the informed ear, and the point of it seems clear.

(6,965 posts)He used to be worse than he is now. He's gotten a bit better by sometimes nott even HAVING thuglicans on his show
I monitor what I watch and Chris H. (And I really like him), is one of those guys who believes in this everyone should speak doctrine. Yeah, like Faux Noose believes in fairness. Yeah, if it was Republican that was on my side, I'd let them speak. But I have no use for seeing a thuglican without sensibilities ramble on and on, as opposed to a Republican (with sensibilities) speaking. NOPE, no use for a "thuglican"

(15,805 posts)I don't usually even bother to watch him, but glanced up from my reading to see that, once again some Republican was wiping the floor with the hapless Chris Hayes.

(15,805 posts)Don't think that dropping of a bit of irrelevant snarkiness is a substitute for conjuring up your own opinion, assuming you even have one, rather than riding on my coattails.

Theres no snark in pointing out how Rethugs debate nowadays.

(5,042 posts)The only attack was a description of Rethuglican debate tactics, which you oddly took very personally.
Never mind your I never watch but I happened to look up and voila! There he was! That guy I dislike being whipped by a Republican! is specious enough of a story so as to be absurd.

(32,566 posts)Nice guy, great topics, but I won't make it a point to watch anyone who can't take control of his/her own show when rethugs filibuster. Or anyone who repeatedly and needlessly plays devil's advocate when it comes to the GOP.
