Yesterday was a long decade.
By the end of the day, when my head finally hit the pillow I felt ten years older; as if Id somehow spent far more than merely 24 hours on the planet, gone through much more than just one earthly rotation.
By nightfall, after weathering another turbulent day here, I felt disproportionately older than I should have.
I know Im not alone.
This exhaustion is a national epidemic.
This fatigue has become commonplace here now.
In this Presidency, America is living dog years.
Were all aging unnaturally rapidly, friends.

(3,176 posts)We're so exhausted. The stress is unnatural. I keep saying how much I wish I could read the last chapter so I know how this ends. If it ends well, we could watch it happen like a gripping crime novel, if it ends tragically, we'd know to start making some serious preparations for survival. I really believe the statistics will show an increase in all disease and likely a shortened life span as a result of this creature and his loyal keepers.

(9,362 posts)I lived through this with Nixon and never dreamed I would have to live through this again. WTF is wrong with people that voted for this? Some of them also lived through Nixon.
