but is there even any law to enforce it?
there should be a law allowing the government to seize any such ill-gotten gains and have them turned over to the treasury.

to say nothing of the fact that it should be criminal.

but we don't have a real president in the White House. He is a usurper and supported by a group of people so happy to be in power they won't honor it either.
When we kick the bums out it would be an opportunity to make an Emoluments Clause-based law to make sure nothing of what we have witnessed over the last year or so ever happen in this country again.
