they were *always* on her head, just flipped up on top, which she did sometimes to read up close.

i swore that would never happen to me, so i don't flip my glasses on top of my head like that.

...to retrieve something from there, only to arrive seconds later and not be able to remember what I wanted. Very annoying, and sometimes a little worrisome.
