I regret it. I basically had the joint "reamed" out and have no cartilage left so now I deal with chronic pain and stiffness-especially if I gain weight or fail to walk at least 4 miles a day and wait until such time that ankle replacement is sufficiently improved to consider.

I never wore heels taller than about an inch and a half, but that was enough.
