Say what you will about Michelle Wolf

Every time I see Huckabee Sanders I will be hearing the Maybeline jingle in my head (maybe it's Maybeline/maybe it's lies)

When I see joe and Mika: it's the me, too that worked out for people

Some of her jokes have stayed with me and I've laughed a second and third time.

We are dealing with a group of thin skinned people here, the faces of a movement that has millions of zealous followers, many who are somewhat less than rational. There could actually be thousands of innocent people who suffer in one degree or another for these funny moments.
We may never truly know the impact of Trump's being roasted and mocked at the 2011 WHCD had to seriously motivate him to run for president.
There are people who can take such roasting in good humor and laugh at themselves, but I don't think that Trump, his administration, or his rabid followers are part of that group. Beware the Law of Unintended Consequences.

Which I think made Donnie Two Scoops determined to run.

Thanks, Obama.

when you ultimately find out their chain was not as long as you assumed it to be.
Nobody is likely to be taken out and shot for this like what might happen with some other regimes, but innocent people could and likely will be made to suffer in one degree or another by the administration and its lackeys, or worse by one of the truly irrational Trumpsters.

The "I was assuming Trump was running as a joke" line was delivered by Seth Myers'.

President Obama made fun of Trump's obsession with his birth certificate, which had just been made public. "That frees him up to pursue the issues that really matter, like: Did we fake the moon landing? What really happened at Roswell?, and, Where are Biggie and Tupac?

Let's take a brief walk down memory lane:

So I guess it really wasn't Obama who triggered Trump's run. It was Seth Meyers.

Thanks, Seth.

And even after he got the nomination he didn't seriously expect to win.

The man got all the free press and manipulation possible to be able to win.

And still lost the popular vote by the widest margins possible.

This would have been a great moment for some subtle, Mark Twain-like humor that the intelligent and all of those who see Trump and his administration for what it is would get, but the Trumpsters would be puzzled and wonder whether they had just been slapped or not and how hard. It's too easy to taunt and mock the Trumpsters, much like tripping the blind and congratulating yourself on being clever.

Mr Anderson says, "Don't put me on your pedestal Mr Ward"

Mr Ward says, "Don't bring me down to your gutter Mr Anderson"

Mr Anderson says, "These people climbed out of the sewer Mr Ward. Maybe the gutter is where we ought to be."
