White House defends taking records from Trump's former doc

WASHINGTON — The White House said Tuesday that President Donald Trump's former bodyguard did nothing out of the ordinary when he took possession of the president's medical records last year, despite a claim by Trump's former doctor that the episode felt like a "raid."

Harold Bornstein, Trump's longtime personal doctor, told NBC News that Keith Schiller, the president's longtime bodyguard and former director of Oval Office operations, showed up at his office in February 2017 along with two other men to collect the records, leaving Bornstein feeling "raped, frightened and sad."

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders disputed the doctor's characterization of the episode.

"As is standard operating procedure for a new president, the White House Medical Unit took possession of the president's medical records," she told reporters at a White House briefing.

It's illegal to give out originals of a patient file, even with a signed patient request.
So said the doc I saw today when I wanted copies of my lab results, we discussed this story.-
copies....to the patient directly, are fine.-----------

I suspect Bornstein is covering his ass with the "strongman took the files" story.-

Sorry, but I have grown too weary trying to find nice words to describe what the Mango Molester has done to our country.

Doc should have called the police unless...he feared Gestapo punishment. He probably knew something about Schiller's reputation.

A reasonable person might guess that those records may contain evidence of a lot of ugly health problems that Drumpf was afraid would get out. After the doc mentioned Propecia, Drumpf ordered the hit on his files.
