Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday night that he would charge into special counsel Robert Mueller’s offices “with a lance” if Russia probe investigators went after Ivanka Trump, but that her husband Jared Kushner as a man is “disposable.”

Giuliani, a former mayor of New York City who is a new member of President Donald trump's legal team, was on Fox News responding to a Politico story from the prior day reporting that the reason Mueller hasn’t called Trump’s eldest daughter for an interview is that he is saving the president’s children until the end, to be risk-averse.

“Ivanka Trump? I think I would get on my charger and go ride into their offices with a lance, if they go after Ivanka,” Giuliani told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “Now if they do do Ivanka, which I don’t think they will, the whole country will turn on them. If they go after her, the whole country will turn on them. They’re going after his daughter?”
