With my legs apart. I do it sheerly because it is more comfortable. No hidden agenda.

Since you do not have the genitalia of a man, you simply do not understand. Even if I cross my ankles, my knees are still apart. And I no longer have the flexibility of youth so the foot on the knee is out, too.

My legs do that naturally. I'd need a belt to comfortably hold my knees together. Could be a difference in how men's and women's hip joints are oriented?

I can state that I also sit with my legs slightly apart. I'm not sure about other guys, but for me it is uncomfortable to sit with my legs together.

I always marveled at how Matt Lauer sits with his legs crossed knee-over-knee, as that would cause me physical pain.

They are separated, just the way I’ve always sat. When I have my legs elevated as I’m told I should do they are crossed at the ankle. When sitting and crossing my legs one over the other it’s knee over knee.
There is no agenda in any except for comfort and doctors orders. (Legs elevated)

20. The Gender Difference of Normal Hip Joint Anatomy
Fri May 4, 2018, 11:41 AM
May 2018
The male acetabulum has a smaller anteversion and a smaller inclination than the female acetabulum. The male femur was less anteverted than the female femur. These were the same gender differences in hip anatomy as reported by others (3, 4). The height of acetabular rim was not different between males and females except at the corner of the ischium. The shape of head neck junction was more projected at the antero-superior corner in males. These gender differences all contribute to more range of motion until bony impingement in flexion for females and in extension for males.

Women are taught to sit with their legs unnaturally clamped together, lest boys catch a glimpse of our underwear if we are wearing skirts - or to be lady-like if we are wearing pants.

Sitting with your legs at least slightly apart is a much more natural way to sit.

it's probably to give him room for his gut to hang out. Unless some guy is annoyingly manspreading on public transportation, I just write it off to quirks of male anatomy and don't give it much thought.

The legs apart thing is a clear show of one of two things, he's too fat to cross his legs or at least his ankles...or he has no fucking class and was never taught manners/etiquette. I'd wager it's a combination of both!

32. Whatever it is..
Fri May 4, 2018, 08:49 PM

He's thinking about how great all of this is for him....and secondarily, his kids. He fancies himself quite a slick character.
This man also thinks about what the Russians will do to him if he falters. When you see him approximate a kindness...it's because he's becoming only a SLIGHTLY different person, by necessity. (practicing acting as a president.)
The main goal is to keep Putin happy, and everyday set another stupid goal..."I'll speak with Mueller...if I do....in a month or so." (He didn't say that, but..) it gets him to another month away. I'm going to meet w Kim Jung in a few weeks or months". etc. He's been doing this for nigh on 2 years. He buys time. He buys tomorrow everyday day...for himself. He's pulling off acting like a President. Imagine how his head must just be tingling.
He enriches himself on the taxpayers largesse (probably akin to the lifestyle of how his Dad provided for him.), spends American tax dollars on his OWN business enterprises, (kids too), and gets Secret Service Security (And Blackwater/Xe crowd Control) wherever any of them go.Everyday. Real civil servants they. I'm ashamed of them. Nothing better to do with tax dollars? Nothing come to mind? Anyhow,
everyday and he saves his ass and repays his loan to Russia if he keeps up the charade. He has THE two biggest motivators for dt...1.) Saving his hide/taking care of himself, 2), making money easy, and translating that 'blood money' and it's origin history, as if it were a result of business hard-working business acumen. With money, you can write...or re-write the story.
Have you noticed every channel is all dt all the time....broken up by a few programs? He got his grifters wish to have 'dt t.v.' by being a lying, deceitful, awful excuse for a man, and he doesn't pay a dime. Rich folk and the Christian Right literally cheer him on. And Christians want Christianity to be the NAtional Religion...omg. No TY.
I saw a DU posters pictures of President Obama at some events as a President. Kind and gentle and Fatherly, to absolutely everyone. He was such a gentleman. he personified the grace and love and kindness Americans have shown ourselves to be.
INCLUDING mind you, that he stopped and listened to, and answered POLITELY back, to hecklers in crowds where he was memorializing some of his finest achievements. aka.."You lie!!!"....THE GALL! A group of folks who lie ALL day long yelling that out at a President, making a formal, encouraging speech to Americans, to all of us-regardless of party-who need to hear strong kindness from a man who decides for all of us. We all work everyday. President Obama went to work and we saw him infrequently. He gave press conferences and addressed questions. he answered them, and didn't have to lie, bc he didn't lie before, AND he can defend his decisions bc he was thinking of US. Fancy that. We could focus on our lives knowing we had a man who had our back. I should've thanked him. With this guy, you are dragged into watching him bc you can't help not to. Nothing is going to change now this weekend. So rest easy. Get some spring stuff done outside? read a book? Hug someone?
I digress,
In the pictures President Obama looked SO happy to be there. Mrs. Obama, gosh. Put up with so much, and still maintained her grace and dignity. That's a person you point your kid to and say, "That's what good behavior looks like."
So miss those people. SO mad at myself for not writing him and her letters. Hillary and Bill as well.
President Bill Clinton, tremendous President. JUST like President Obama, the gop spent so much time UNFAIRLY grudge matching or filibustering the ideas/causes...bc they could. Regardless of how he's been framed by relentless name calling by the right, the 90's were GREAT employment times. People had money to spend. *****THE MAN LEFT THE BUDGET A SURPLUS***** let that sink in, or let yourself remember that. Democrats do so much good, but everyone is focused on the loud distraction, and then the gop re-write the script the next time they get elected, and break it all over again. Full well knowing someone will clean up the mess (Democrats), and all their job will be is to block progress, moralize and lecture. Point to religion to get US to behave, so they can fade away and behave awfully. the mess will get cleaned up, bc twice as many people really do treat each other and other people w kindness and love. Bc of that, we re-build the country again until next time. Gotta do better somehow and stop the violent cycle. End it once and for all and when we rebuild it this time, make it iron clad, and permanent. Like repubs do their tax-breaks.
dt has dragged us sooo far back. In soooo many ways. The longer the 30% acts ugly and is rewarded for it, their kids grow up to believe (by and large) what they heard their parents say. And the uncaring ignorance, is passed on unwittingly, but dangerously for all of us.
It's irrevocable harm to older Americans who paid the bills for a decent country. We need an Injunction. (A Conjunction Injunction..hats off to the guy who just died who wrote those..an educator by profession.) The elder generations, paid the taxes. they/we WENT TO PROTESTS and they fought the war on the ground. We went to college or worked hard in factories to make "American Made" products They/we may never see a return on that lifelong investment at this rate. CONSIDERING on their best day eliminating Soc. Security or Medicare, WE paid for. And being lectured by the right wing media that they're "ENTITLEMENTS", yes...you're right, we're entitled, bc we paid the bill.
I fear deeply for the miennials and others down the line.
The promise of America belongs to all of us. It's not temporary. This idea of America we tend to now, and by oath and obligation, endeavor to hand it down to the NEXT generation of AMERICANS, in better shape then how we got it. It's our obligation to the Social Pact and our fellow man. The next generation who have to continue to always strive to do better themselves. We lead the consciousness and moral high ground (by and large) to the world. We can do better. We have to do better.
Pull away from trump Tv this weekend. You'll know if something good happens bc you'll hear car horns and people dancing in the street
"Alexa...play war protest songs of the 60s. Mix it w patriotic rockers like Springsteen and Mellencamp...expound".
Practice the behavior we all have to get back to. Remember a calm and gentle life that we will strive to get back to. So we ALL don't forget what that model looks like.
I didn't mean to just write out all that, I suppose i felt it was relevant in some way to the title OP/post. heh heh.
Have a good weekend DU'ers.
