7. There was never a glimmer of hope for a Benghazi indictment

The whole point of having numerous investigations was to tar Hillary for as long as possible. The republican party knew they had little chance of defeating her in an election. They weren't counting on herr drumpf at all. Just smear the likely candidate as much as possible was their game plan - a game plan donnie tiny hands knew how to exploit to a level Jeb or the other low-energy front runners wouldn't even attempt. As deplorable as the whole scheme was, there was a certain dastardly logic to it, and it proved effective in the number of sheer virulent anti-Hillary folks who flocked to the polls.
