But the total lack of support and respect for someone who is giving so much to his party and his country. That really shows what loyalty is in the repub party

he read a prepared apology a few days later that nobody believed, but the media put the issue to bed to focus on Hillary's emails.

to McCain since McCain has written in his new book he does not want tRump to attend his funeral. It really was shameful for tRump to have said the things he said about McCain but to never apologize is even more shameful. Since tRump feels no shame and actually has no sense of shame about anything he has EVER done, I suppose it is totally fitting that he would feel no urgency to do that while McCain is still alive. That speaks loudly to the kind of character this monster has and is all the more reason why he needs to go.

I was stunned by the lack of outrage on the part of others Republicans when tRump made those nasty comments about McCain. It is one thing to criticize your opponent for legitimate differences in policy or ideology. But to attack a man who was held captive and suffered permanent injury from his treatment while in captivity seems heartless and cruel. It revealed a great deal about tRump’s character that he was willing (and apparently eager) to go after McCain in such a nasty way. But the fact that most Republicans ignored the comments or just looked the other way reveals a lot about their character, too. It seems there are a lot of people in this country who have some explaining to do of how they square who they SAY they are with who they REALLY are.
