MSNBC's Ruhle blasts Conway for mocking Schneiderman: 'Talk about a double standard'
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle blasted Kellyanne Conway on Tuesday for mocking Eric Schneiderman after four women made physical abuse allegations against the New York attorney general, pointing to accusations against President Trump.
“You’re standing with and by someone who’s been accused of sexual misconduct as well as a guy who’s bragged about grabbing women’s genitals,” Ruhle said.
“Talk about a double standard, you betcha,” she added.
Ruhle brought up the White House counselor's defense of Trump after the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape was released during the 2016 election that depicts him bragging about kissing and touching women without their consent.
On Monday, Conway revived a statement from Schneiderman in 2017 reminding Trump that “no one is above the law.”
“Gotcha,” Conway tweeted.
