World War III is all but an inevitability at this point.

Sit tight folks. We don't need Thanos to wipe out half of humanity, we may do it on our own. All it takes is a genocidal dictator, an army of trolls, and a willing populace.

If I had merely three dollars every time I saw these apocalyptic prophecies posted on DU, I'd have a cool five grand by now. If I had the same amount every time I've heard them regardless of the forum, we're close to a hundred grand.
