Many Nursing Home Residents In LOUSYana Will Die. Will Be No Other Option.

Ending nursing home care of such fragile seniors will lead DIRECTLY to their death. And their families will not be able to take care of them and are not qualified either.

We cared for my mother in law for 8 months until she passed in 2008 at 104, It was 8 months of sleepless night and being captive at home most of the time. It meant trying to figure out how to take care of her when one of us was gone. It usually took two of us and we were on the edge of being able to do it the entire time. We walked a very tight tight rope. And we were near exhaustion. Thankfully we were both retired and in decent enough health. She passed just before she would have had to put her into a home. We were over our head by then.

So the GOP is committing mass murder and causing massive economic bankruptcy on may families. I imagine most of them voted for the GOP bastards.

who don't reside in skilled nursing facilities.

It's about callous ultrawealthy donors who don't see why "they" should support people on Medicaid who can sleep in a grandchild's living room and be driven to and from dialysis appointments by a relative. Their battle to end progressive social programs and the taxation that supports them.

It's about religious extremists who think forcing (7 times out of 8) women to quit their jobs and stay home to care for elders will be good for the moral and religious tone of the nation. The battle against secularism.

Then the came for the Gay folks and I did not speak out— Because I was not Gay.

Then they came for the old folks in nursing homes on medicare and I did not speak out— Because I was not old, sick or poor.

Then they came to cut the health care of millions of children and I did not speak out— Because I was not a poor sick child.

Then the nazi republicans came for you and me............

Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. This evil has engulfed the world once before and it is happening right before our eyes in America again.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Also predictable, the GOP accuses everyone else of the things they are guilty of. Anyone who is still insisting both parties are the same needs to own up to the consequences of such blatant idiocy.

There is no other explanation for such pure evil. Because a one cent tax expired? I cannot fathom the depravity of those who would cause such suffering over that. I am sickened. And angered.

Are doing everything they can to hurt the elderly by destroying their health care, and nursing homes options. They are already set to destroy Social Security also, and why any older person would vote for them is troubling. Solution is by voting all republicans out of office next Nov. . VOTE! They can give themselves billions from their tax scam , then do this to seniors throughout this country. Disturbing any American people will vote for this.

Do these patients have any family left that cares? There should be thousands of people in the streets of LA protesting and the MSM should be there. <crickets>
