I know a lot of people here are panicking that we're about to go to war, but I really don't see it happening. Nobody, including Trump's base, wants the US back in another needless war in the middle east.

It is the potential of war with Russia, China and others that should scare the shit out of you.

The unnecessary, hyper-militant propaganda that's is being drilled into our collective consciousness by the right and the media is most concerning.

The stupidity and dogma of the hawks and consistently-wrong prognosticators must be countered by rationality, truth and louder voices in order to keep the peace.

Not sure what regular is where you are (if CA, would wager well over $3.00), but we're averaging $2.50 in the Midwest, and this is an area with famously cheap gasoline.
