The polls haven't moved for many, many weeks

Far too many people here look at individual polls. Look at the average:



It swings up and down but the trend has been a strong Dem lead for a long time.

2. True, but fixating on one bad poll helps people who want to be perpetually nervous.

In addition to the fact that nothing's happened to explain the sharp movement in the CNN poll (which usually signifies when a poll is an outlier), we've got six months to go, which is an eternity in Trump time. I guarantee that something major is going to happen between now and November. I have no idea what it will be, but there's always another scandal on the horizon.
