Credit to Trump?

There’s been a lot of discussion of late about how Democrats and the “fake news” are not giving Trump enough credit for his accomplishments.

So on that note, allow me to give credit where it’s due.

I give Trump credit for being an astoundingly prolific liar. I also give him credit for being an equal opportunity liar, in that he lies as much about substantive matters as he does trivial nonsense.

I give Trump credit for having built a business empire by cheating investors out of their money, refusing to compensate workers and suppliers, and collecting funds for “charity” that wound up in his own pocket.

I give Trump credit for running for office by being a bigot, a racist, a misogynist, and a brainless bully – thereby attracting the votes of the bigots, racists, misogynists and the brainless among us.

I give Trump credit for distancing us from our allies, for acting like a brainless buffoon on the world stage, and for continually insulting world leaders who are far superior to him in intellect, experience, and the qualities of true leadership.

I give Trump credit for appointing the most unqualified people possible to cabinet and advisory positions – people who, in turn, are destroying our education system, consumer and environmental protections, and access to healthcare.

I give Trump credit for spending his days in office watching TV, tweeting, and figuring out ways to use his position for personal financial gain – between golf games.

I give Trump credit for being self-absorbed enough to run the country like a dumbass reality show, for being petty enough to attack anyone who doesn’t kiss his ass, and for being such a fuckin’ moron, he can’t run his own White House staff, no less a nation.

Most of all, I give Trump credit for taking every opportunity to do the bidding of his Russian colleagues, regardless of the consequences to his own country and its citizens.

But even with respect to all of the above, Trump does not deserve a hundred percent of the credit. He couldn’t have done it without the willing assistance of his enablers, the Republicans who continue to support him to the detriment of the nation’s security and economic well-being – not to mention the abandonment of every principle that nation stands for.

So credit where it’s due. Donald Trump is without doubt the most dishonest, unethical, laziest, self-serving traitor who has ever plopped his lard ass down in the Oval Office.

And when they start handing out Nobels for that, I’ll nominate the lyin’ traitor myself.
