Will start enriching nuclear material on an industrial level. Hopefully the responsible countries that remained in the deal can persuade them otherwise, but we're probably going to have a nuclear weapon in Iran's hands before 2020.

Israel or the US? Bomb Israel and most of the other countries will start to fall in behind them. Matter of time.

5. Fall in line?

Hardly. Nuke Israel and get annihilated in return. Look up the Samson Option. Israel has second strike capabilities. Like most nuclear powers, they always have at least 1 ballistic missile sub out on patrol.

Doubt it would even get that far. Either Iran develops them and they are the new North Korea. Or, more likely, Iran gets attacked sometime this year.

6. They won't use it

They want it to protect themselves so they can have MAD with Israel.

The one issue though is if the sanctions hit hard they might sell it to terrorists. Any way you slice it, we had Iran adhering to a good deal and had a way to get them to the negotiating table on other arms issues. Iran was starting down a path to joining the global community, they is a ground swell of support for modernization of Iran from a young and educated populace. That has all been set back 2 decades now.

the government's mind. Two days ago, Iran indicated just the opposite.

4. They are going to try to save the deal first according to the article.

They are not restarting it quite yet, so we should not give up hope.

The Russians and Chinese will offer them a sweetheart deal, IMO.
