We uncover payments to Michael Cohen's shell company from a Russian oligarch, and coincidentally also find payments from AT&T and Novartis to the same shell company. These don't necessarily relate in any way to the Trussia scandal; it's more like plain old-fashioned domestic play-for-pay graft.
So you uncover evidence of one scandal, and somehow it gives you a bonus of information of entirely different scandals that we didn't know about before.
If only there was some sort of good visual metaphor we could use for this.

He's not a naive creature who hung around with the wrong crowd.
Any of a number of sensational psychiatric diagnoses are interesting, but they're irrelevant.
There are a few million people in the country who have similar diagnoses as what's been surmised by those observing Trumpy. But they don't have what Trumpy ALSO has.
Trumpy created within himself his own monster. He oozes evil. Every act we can see him perform is intended to hurt others will glorifying himself and increasing his power.
It's important to lean away from a psychological or sociological perspective on what we know about Trumpy.
This isn't a psychological issue. It's a moral and ethical one. And Trumpy is, to his inner core, immoral and unethical. It's NOT a passive quality. Trumpy intentionally acts to hurt others. He nurtures his inner nature and creates evil wherever he goes.
