The EU needs to become a federal republic. EU army, navy and Air Force.
I want to see them fill some of the vacuum left by fast declining US hegemony.

Locally (here in Albuquerque, NM) NMPBS Comcast cable TV channel #204 carries a 30 minute broadcast M-F of the German international news in English
at 2:30 P.M.,
preceded by 30 minutes of the Japanese international news in English.
Each cover their top national and international stories,
often giving a different perspective than we get in the U.S.
