Ronan Farrow read for his first university degree at 11

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2018/may/13/ronan-farrow-interview-woody-allen-harvey-weinstein-me-too
<snip>
“Thanks for taking the time,” says Ronan Farrow when we meet at a central London hotel. Farrow is the journalist whose exposé of Harvey Weinstein helped kickstart the #MeToo movement. Just 30 years old, he looks, up close, about 13. But he has packed into his three decades more adventures and achievements than most of us could manage in two lifetimes. Of course he had a head start. He was the only biological child of two extremely famous people: Woody Allen, arguably America’s most celebrated living film-maker, and Mia Farrow, herself a child of Hollywood royalty, star of many films and ex-wife of Frank Sinatra. Ronan was originally named Satchel but, after some rather dramatic events in his life, he understandably decided that it wasn’t really his bag.

By the time that he was five, Ronan had witnessed his parents’ epically bitter break-up, his father’s new relationship with his 22-year-old sister (Farrow’s adopted daughter) Soon-Yi (the cause of the vicious split), and the allegations that his father had sexually abused his seven-year-old adopted sister Dylan Farrow. A court case and custody battle ensued in the relentless glare of the world’s media.

These were, to say the least, formative experiences, but there were plenty more to come in Ronan’s childhood. First off, his mother adopted five more children after the split with Allen, bringing her brood to 14, some of them disabled or suffering from serious illness. One, named Tam, died of heart failure when Ronan was seven.

By the time he was 11 the young Farrow was at university studying for a degree, a double major in philosophy and biology. At 16 he was enrolled at the prestigious Yale law school. In the meantime he’d been travelling with his mother to places like Sudan, Liberia and Angola on humanitarian missions. And it was in Sudan that he picked up a rare bone disease that left him in a wheelchair for several years.

Allen made a living out of joking about his fears of the world beyond the urban sophistication of Manhattan and spent a lifetime in analysis discussing his neuroses. His son seems made of sterner stuff, but that was still a lot to process for a child. Yet, if anything, the 15 years that followed have been even more incident‑packed.

He was really good and handsome to boot.
Is it wrong to repeat the rumor he is really Frank Sinatra’s son? Visually that makes more sense.

I wonder if he would like to be on a show again. Maybe he likes his independence.

Anyway, I’d watch.

Ronan looks a lot like his mother, a lot like Sinatra. Not seeing much of Woddy is found in his features.

I wonder if Ronan has made any public comments on the rumor/uncanny resemblance?

Mia Farrow Says Woody Allen's Son May Actually Be Frank Sinatra's Son

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, actress and Twitter celebrity Mia Farrow reveals this interesting fact about her life: Her son, Ronan, whose biological father has always been reported to be the director Woody Allen, may actually be singer Frank Sinatra's son. This is a Jerry Springer episode for the 1 percent.

Both Ronan and Mia are known for their dislike of Allen, who started having an affair with Mia's adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, when Soon-Yi was only 19 (Ronan hasn't talked to Allen since, and last year he cracked on Twitter that he calls Father's Day "brother-in-law's day&quot . But in the past there's been no real indication that Allen isn't Ronan's real father. That changed when Vanity Fair writer Maureen Orth asked Farrow about her former love affair with Sinatra.

Farrow discusses her relationship with Frank Sinatra, telling Orth that Sinatra was the great love of her life, and says, “We never really split up.” When asked point-blank if her biological son with Woody Allen, Ronan Farrow, may actually be the son of Frank Sinatra, Farrow answers, “Possibly.” No DNA tests have been done.

He was filming a movie and came over to talk to me. His face was 2 feet from mine so I got a good look. I see that same face in Ronan.
