Reality TV's Duggars endorse Rick Santorum

Is this considered "religion"? I consider it to be a story about the GOP candidates, and the looneytoons who support them.

By Catalina Camia, USA TODAY

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are featured in TLC's 19 Kids and Counting show.

DES MOINES -- Rick Santorum is getting a boost today from the Duggars, the family featured on the TLC reality show, 19 Kids and Counting.

Jim Bob Duggar, the family patriarch, campaigned with the former Pennsylvania senator today at a pizza parlor in Boone "asking Christians in America to get behind Santorum."

In a news release, Michelle Duggar called Santorum a "pro-life, Christian conservative with the family values and common-sense business perspective" needed for the presidency. She had a miscarriage last month.

Santorum has surged in Iowa in recent days, largely from the support of religious conservatives.

Does being a "christian", or any other religious cultist, have to do with presidential qualifications?

Since St.Ronnie, it's a must to be "Christian" to be President. I think it's been around longer, but they were in the closet back in the day. I guess they feared they might look crazy. And they were so right. But today it's a free for all. Say what's really on your mind, and you get more supporters. After all, aren't we a "Christian Nation" LOL! Isn't that what our fore fathers meant by church and state. We just eliminate the word separate, and there you have it.

The more you learn about politics, the more you will realize nothing is equitable about it. There are the movers and the shakers, and then there are the rest of us. It's already a 2 class system in the country, and the only way we can get anywhere is to gang up on that 1%. Even then, it'd only be an illusion that we have gained anything. The reality is a little too tough to swallow.

I think that we should have awarded the Duggars Darwin Awards a long time ago, before they procreated at all. Fortunately, there is a very great need for service people in the future.

I am going to be very catty about Michele and JIM BOB. I am sorry she miscarried. But I do not know what the warranty is on her womb. Do wombs last for only 19 babies? Are each of her female offspring going going to marry into the same cult? I saw a TLC episode of Say yes to the dress where Michele shopped for a wedding dress. She bought one that looked like an old flour sack and then she had alterations that covered up the rest of her body. This leads me to ask Do she and JIM BOB have sex 24/7, wrapped up like mummies, to fool people into thinking they do not have sex?

They're fucking (literally!) insane. Just like Santorum. They deserve each other, actually. Hopefully, the rest of the country will see that soon.

I know how you feel about Michelle. In my view, she goes against everything I have believed in in my life as a woman. I KNOW this is going to sound vicious, but I'm glad she finally had something serious happen to her for treating giving birth and having children as little more than you would housework. Too many people try over and over again just to sustain one pregnancy, and some never succeed. I had one friend who went through two ectopic pregnancies and a miscarriage before she finally was able to have a child, and another friend who had THREE miscarriages before she got pregnant.

Some people like the Duggars should have never had kids. At the very least, they should never be getting paid money for HAVING all those kids. (Not from taxpayers, but from a TV show--again, the least desired common denominator audience members--people too stupid to know the difference between reality and fantasy--in glorifying mega-sized families and idiotic reasons for having them.)

Every female child will be forbidden to vote, will need to have very strong feet so they can remain barefoot, and they only have to cite their mother as their role model for staying pregnant most of their lives.

And I doubt more than a couple of the boy children will be more than slobbering imbeciles as adults.

is that they appeal to the least intelligent people out there, because they are also part of that horrendous dempgraphic.

Seriously, the thought that some toothless "wild man" or some mental midgets get more ratings than some greatly thought out and intelligent drama makes me very, very ill.

Following the endorsement, Jim Bob whipped his member out and announced to those viewers critical of their quiverful activities that he and Michelle will be "attempting childrens 21 through 365 tonight and every NIGHT, YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!", thrusting it in cameras with every word.
