Here is a pic of that sorority doing community service that were called on for fighting

on the roadside allegedly
Not only were the sorority members NOT fighting, but they were literally standing on the road, with garbage bags and picking up trash. And doing it in front of their very own “Adopt a Highway” sign.
Some have questioned if they had the right to be there
Well they were doing it in front of thier sponsored sign ! Cop said he was responding to a call and it looked to him like they were fighting. What?
The women were questioned as they stood on the side of the road and the cop wanted to know more
Since he never saw someone doing that in the area , he remained suspicious and they were asked for their IDs.
When they obliged and showed their IDs, the officer antagonistically told them that they could have refused.

But we all know how this story could have ended up if they had....
Police person you already were not buying the story and asking for ID after they explained everything so how would you honor that refusal to show ID??Hmm

So just in case you had a different image in your head

Founded in the midst of segregation, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is the only sorority of the four historically African-American sororities which comprise the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) established at a predominantly white campus.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has over 100,000 members with more than 500 undergraduate and alumnae chapters throughout the United States, Bermuda, The Bahamas, Canada, Africa and Korea. Sigma Gamma Rho also supports two affiliates: the Rhoers, a group of young women, and the Philos, women who are friends of the sorority.

I'm sure everyone would have been fine if they were wearing their prison uniforms.

If you call the police, you better be damned well sure of what you are seeing!

Anyone of us could have pulled the car over and got out to see what's what.

Calling the cops from the privacy of you vehicle moving away is cowardice and ultimately racist.

People should be able to trust the police, and, while this incident played out without violence, it sure had moments of mistrust and ready willingness to think the worst.

And now maybe one of more of those girls think the same. That every encounter with the police has to be approached with a lot more deference than it should.

They even have their Greek jackets on, so the idiot probably figured they were foreigners.

stand on the side of the road with garbage bags picking up trash in their gang colors as they plan out their murders in broad daylight?

Racist assholes always love to claim they did their civic duty to see something, say something. Except they see dark skin and imagine crime(black) and terrorism(brown).
