‘Humiliated’ Black woman strip searched by Macy’s clerk because ‘people like you have been stealing’

A California woman believes she was racially profiled and wrongfully accused of stealing by a Macy’s store clerk.

According to KNTV-TV, Conteh Moore was shopping at a San Jose Macy’s on May 8th when a sales associate accused her of stealing a bottle of cologne. Shortly thereafter, the employee performed an invasive strip search on her without her consent but came up empty handed.

“They searched my purse and stripped my sweater off me,” Moore said.

She also claims the employee made comments that demonstrated her suspicions about Moore being a thief were based on racial bias.

“She said, ‘People like you have been stealing from Macy’s, stealing stuff,’” Moore explained.

To add insult to injury, the employee made a scene and loudly accused her of shoplifting in front of other customers, then made her wait nearly two hours to speak with a manager about the incident.

“I feel so humiliated, and up until now, I am still feeling the pain,” Moore said.

Donald Trump made more racist remarks about immigrants on Wednesday during a meeting about immigration.

POTUS went after Oakland’s Mayor, Libby Schaaf and essentially threatened her with obstruction justice charges after she tipped off immigrant communities in her city about an impending ICE raid.

“To me, that’s obstruction of justice,” Mr. Trump said. “And perhaps the Department of Justice can look into that…”

He proceeded to call immigrants “animals” in response to the Mayor of Fresno discussing his issues with gang members.

“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country,” Trump reportedly said. “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.”

According to the White House pool reporter who was present for the meeting between Trump and a group of California mayors, Jeff Sessions was sitting at the table, unaffected when Trump made the comments. He continued to insist that immigrants are dangerous criminals and attacked states like California for protecting sanctuary cities despite a lawsuit from the Department of Justice.

California Governor, Jerry Brown, responded to Trump’s latest comment on social media on Wednesday. “@therealDonaldTrump is lying on immigration, lying about crime and lying about the laws of CA. Flying in a dozen Republican politicians to flatter him and praise his reckless policies change nothing. We, the citizens of the fifth largest economy in the world, are not impressed.”

4. A mother and son driven off the road, attacked and called racial slurs

TROY - "They tried to run us off the road saying, 'You [n*****], get the [f***] out of our country,' and we were like distraught because we didn't know exactly what was going on," Natia Shim said.

Shim and her 17-year-old son were on their way to Latham Farms last Thursday afternoon to fill out job applications for the soon-to-be high school graduate when all of a sudden, she says, a green truck with lights on top of it rammed her car into the shoulder.

"All he kept saying was, 'Mommy, they're going to kill us, they're going to kill us,' and I'm just sitting there like, 'Just go,' and I'm ducking down in the seat," Shim explained.

She says the truck cut them off at the exit ramp to Latham.

Then at least three men and two women -- one older and one younger -- got out and began destroying her mirrors, hitting the car with bats and smashing in a window, she later learned from witnesses, with a frying pan. This all while shouting obscenities and racial slurs.

"They're screaming, 'We are the white supremacists,' and n*****s do not belong in their country," Shim recalled.

Two white New Jersey girls turned civil rights icon Rosa Parks’ name into a racial slur to insult a black athlete after a rowing competition.

Myasia Joga says two rowers from another school racially harassed her Sunday after she was separated from her teammates on a jitney bus ride back to the other side of Lake Lenape after finishing their race, reported The Press of Atlantic City.

The 16-year-old Myasia, a junior at Absegami High School, hurried to catch up with her teammates after a race but decided to wait for the next shuttle bus after the first jitney became too crowded, and she rode with students from Mainland Regional High School.

“They thought that I was on the jitney, but I wasn’t,” Myasia said. “I waited for the last one to arrive. I got on there into the front seat in the front row and then the driver drove by and stopped, and that’s when the Mainland crew got on and crowded the bus, so I was like cornered in the front row.”

Myasia, the only girl on the bus, said two Mainland rowers called her “Rosa Parks,” referring to the black woman who famously refused to give up her seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama — and then called her the N-word.

You may have heard about that unsettling incident last week—the one in which a white Yale graduate student called campus police on a black classmate who’d fallen asleep on the sofa in the common room of their student apartment building. Yale officers detained the black student, Lolade Siyonbola, for 15 minutes in order to, as one cop put it, “make sure you belong here.”

The caller clearly had issues—and to their credit, the Yale cops say they admonished her that this wasn’t a matter requiring police intervention. Yet it was just the latest in a series of recent encounters between police and African Americans that highlight just how low the bar is for white Americans to sic law enforcement on black people. The attention to these incidents from national media—Mother Jones included—marks a welcome expansion of our national dialogue around race and policing to include the role of white citizens in driving racially fraught police encounters that too often end in violence.

In the month since two law-abiding black men were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks, white people have called police on a group of black women who were golfing too slowly, on a group of black girls goofing around outside a formal dinner, and on a black real-estate investor who was inspecting a house he had under contract. White staff at a Nordstrom Rack called police on three black teens shopping for prom clothes because they wrongfully suspected them of stealing—and I quickly discovered this wasn’t a first for Nordstrom Rack.

During the same time period, a former Obama staffer was reported to police as a possible burglar while moving things into his new apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and black women picking up trash on the side of a Pennsylvania highway as community service for their sorority were questioned by police after someone called and claimed they were fighting. (They were not.) In Oakland, California, a white woman called police after confronting two black men barbecuing with charcoal in a lakeside area designated for gas grills. This list goes on.

By that logic it's time to start detaining random white males with guns because "people like you have been mass shooting". And random GOP politicians because "people like you have been colluding with enemy countries".

It's amazing that people like Rachel Dolezal would choose to change their race. Growing up it always baffled my family that whites would deliberately sunbathe to get tan.
