I recall William and Kate's wedding where they came out on the balcony and kissed, and it was the first time in history even for that.

If there is a kiss, it will likely be on the stairs of the Chapel.
I seem to recall that Charles and Diana kissed on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, and people were SHOCKED. Not in a bad way - it just caught people by surprise.
