That the church will come to its senses eventually on Gay rights. She agrees and this is, at least a start. Long way to go though

The Pope didn't say anything like, "The Church will no longer oppose the legalization of same sex marriage" for example. Nothing is different.

Doesn't the Church teach that 1. God made everyone, 2. Everyone is a sinner, and 3. God loves everyone?

If the Pope was being honest he would have to include that a gay persons only path to heaven is "a chaste life of faith overcoming the test God has set you to"

Yes, this guy speaks softly but don't be confused - He is still saying the same things

And realized that Jesus was very much like Fred Rodgers.

In many ways, I'm thinking that if there was really was going to be a "second coming" of a representative of a Creator diety, it would be in the form of Fred Rodgers.
