It's time to start up the RNC Convention Death Watch...

AS you all know, the date and location for the 2020 RNC Convention has yet to be announced. That's because no respectable city in this country wants to endure the gawdawful mess that it will surely be... Trump? MAGAheads? NEO-nazzies? General fucking RWNJ morons? Who NEEDS any of that shit?

At this point, they'll be lucky to run a convention at all... Hence, the RNC Convention Death Watch!

Going by the start date of the 2016 RNC, 18 Jul 2016, from today the count is theoretically 789 days until a proposed 2020 convention date.

I propose that this thread be used as RNC Convention Death Watch Central, updated on a daily basis, until some unfortunate burg gets hoodwinked into hosting the greatest shit show ever beheld by mankind.

(By the way, if any of you guys out there know how embed a countdown timer in a DU post, I'd really appreciate it if you'd show me how to do that.)

Only one city has bid for the hate fest RNC Convention, and that’s Charlotte, North Cakalaka.

By the way, Charlotte was one of the eight cities that bid for the DNC 2020 convention.

No other city wants the GOPrs to show up.
