This is why I hate that the media keeps reporting on Trump and his attacks against Russian probe

Watch this video and the two or three succeeding videos and try to understand what is happening to us because of the unrelenting reporting of whatever Trump says. The media keeps putting Trump's opinion about the probe into the atmosphere. We are being manipulated (not necessarily us here but others out there) to receive the messages that something is wrong about the Russian probe and many cannot recognize how they are being manipulated.

I would much rather we kept throwing into the atmosphere the remarkable movement by generation next about gun reform and getting Congress to do something about the incessant access to weapons among our citizens. Or talk about the environmental violence being done by our industries or the tax scam and how people are hurting out there because this administration as screwed up Obamacare.

This kind of coverage by the media is exactly what helped Trump get elected...wall to wall coverage of his hateful, racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic tweets and rallies. All that nastiness was thrown out into atmosphere and took up the space that should have been filled by the Democratic platform and HRC's messages about the economy, education, revitalizing the rust belt, and healthcare. It's happening all over again and by the time November gets here, 70% of the voting population will believe that Mueller is an evil monster actually conducting an illegal and unfair witch hunt against Trump. Of course, one expects FOX to give constant coverage of Trump and his fake allegations, but CNN and MSNBC should cover the main points of what is happening with the Mueller investigation. Trump loves the coverage and his handlers know exactly what they are doing.

1. Remember all the free air time the media, including MSNBC and CNN,

that was given to the moron during the campaign? Hillary wanted to discuss issues but no one wanted to discuss them with her. Instead they showed an empty podium waiting for him to make his grand entrance for over 10 minutes. They are partially to blame for the results of the election yet they are still doing the same thing to a lesser degree.

3. He an aberration. Appealing bc of a kind of bizarre sensationalism.

Makes big $$ for them plus ratings.

2. you are so right. All the oxygen is being sucked out of any discussions because

of all Trump all the time. Even MSNBC and CNN cut to everything Trump does and debate it endlessly. Meanwhile, discussion of the effects of his policies are minimal, coverage of Puerto Rico or other national disasters is minimal. International news is almost absent. It is mind numbing.

4. People need to understand that the message that gets repeated is

the message that gets remembered. "No collusion, no collusion!" "Lock her up!" "Witch hunt!"

Every night that the media reports that Trump said those words, those words are repeated and remembered and embedded in our sub-conscience.
