I was puzzled as Marine One airlifted the Orange Gasbag out of DC this morning.

I was in DC this morning when the heavy lift choppers ferried his rotund ass outta town. Normally there are multiple aircraft in the sky to serve as escorts and decoys. This morning I saw what appeared to be two helicopters and two smaller fixed wing aircraft. Has there been a change in how they ferry His Girthiness around? I normally do not see fixed wings. These may have been Ospreys.

VTOL (Vertical Take Off Landing) so it's kind of like a helicopter in that respect.

To see them clearly. I am speculating they were Osprey, which makes some sense

My point is, is there a new Marine One escort protocol?

The sinkhole probably worried some people, and they were scared of what might happen if Trump were to accidentally fall out of the helicopter. There may be no fracking in the vicinity of the White House, but that large a mass hitting the ground from a certain height might have triggered some seismic activity nonetheless.
