I am not really a basketball fan

I used to follow the Knicks when they were a great team - actually went to the Garden in the 70s and in recent years I also watched a few Heat games live. I loved MJ and watched most of his games on TV. I say all that to say that Lebron James is something else. What a great player and what a great post-season. And now iit's game 7 tomorrow.

Although i had to hate him when he was with the heat and they cheated to beat the Spurs. But I'm back to loving him again even though he is up against another favorite team of mine, the Celtics. He has shown himself to be a true patriot in the fight against the idiocracy, he seems to have a superb family life, and i do like his unselfish play on the court. He's just an all around good dude. His ability to hold it all together with the super hype and pressure surrounding him in high school and on into the nba, show a massive level of maturity. Bravo to his parents as well.

10. Until the mid-70's, b-ball was one of the few winter sports for high school!

Well, except curling, wrestling, gymnastics, dog sledding, rifle teams, LOL! No, I was NOT a cheerleader! Skiing costs big money so not a bunch went for it. Our "football" season is about 6 weeks, then Termination Dust! (That white stuff that WILL insist on falling from the sky.)

B-ball kept us going! And..........LeBron is one of a kind, for sure. I don't follow the sport anymore, except an occasional remembering.

Hey, LOL! Ja hear about the dog sled team?..................

We just do have such separate worlds - drop me where you are and vice versa??? Heck with that, we'll get together and do one place at a time and..I can almost promise to get you to go into an outdoor pool at 35 below!

I'm a cricket fan and I actually love baseball - and yes it's a great winter sport but while I'll watch, basketball is not my favorite sport.
