The $393k net worth...there's something odd about that. He's bound to have had a retirement account, family money (he comes from wealth), and he still lives on the same street, so he hasn't paid a lot of money for a fancy new house (although I bet he has a vacation home that's pricey).

If he paid off house and other debts, his net worth could have doubled instantly. Only 5 million left to account for!

I have no doubt that Ryan is on the take, and will be leaving Congress for some cushy board positions that pay a lot just to have his name and connections.

Ryan is all about money. Not that there's anything wrong with money. But money is his primary concern, I think.

My mother worked in a factory doing piece work and it about killed her to continue to work with three teens at home but we were able to stay in our home and finish high school and go to community college. If we didn't get that SS, we would have been homeless.
