Trump's misconduct towards women has been much worse, but I haven't heard the democrats getting on their soapbox to speak out against it so vociferously as they have done to fellow democrat Al Franken.
or do their standards only apply to democrats?

But the article you post is dated Dec 11. After the Dec 6 letter to Franken. Five days
After shit had hit the fan and folks like me were livid at all those Senators and some scurried around trying to cover their collective asses.
Im not saying Gilli is insincere but the timing of this statement seems pretty self preservational rather than anything else.
