Can someone please help me figure out this new Google News thing?

I went to "Manage your settings" and was led to a page titled "Sources you've hidden" followed by a list of sources.

Except I've never hidden any sources.

I clicked on one of the red balls, thinking maybe I could "unhide" the source I had supposedly hidden, and the source disappeared completely. So now the source I wanted to unhide is gone. And I can't figure out how to get it back.

So I don't know how "Sources you've hidden" works.

How do you get sources you do want to see OFF that list?

1. It's screwed up, lots of complaints. I can't even get the menus on the left to

display properly. I sent them constructive feedback.

2. I haven't been back to Google news since they changed everything but

I don't want to just see stuff tailored to my interests. I want to know what the world is interested in.

3. I ignore it all.

Since I am tech retarded I know if I try to "correct" it I will fuck up 1,001 other things that I never wanted to change in the first place. So I have learned to ignore all that crap. If I could teach a classroom full of hyper first graders, I can ignore just about any distraction if I decide to. I wish I could ignore the fucking moron as easily.

4. So glad to see this post!!! I have hidden Entertainment and Sports....

... for years. Every now and then I'd have to re-do it. But now they're back and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get rid of them!! There's also a stupid "Expeically for You" or words to that effect. I don't want Google deciding what I want to see!!!!

Google news is or how I can get it. I don’t want to know. I read enough news from other sources. And you’re right. I also want control over what I read. Google wants to advise me? Why?
