Seek to label immigrants as rapists and criminals? Did it seek to limit the entry of refugees? Did it cut off immigration to whole classes of people based on their religion?

The Obama administration had it's transgressions against immigrants, including record deportations to match the record influx of children and others, including the dehumanizing warehousing that's pictured. They were roundly criticized for this, notably in the last election.

But they certainly WERE decidedly more concerned with their welfare. It's sophistry and curiously ignorant of Trump's transgressions and abuses to suggest otherwise.

I prefer that which is edgy and even sometimes humorously magnifies or sharpen the focus on issues, controversies or policies.

Parental love is no surprise. In fact it is expected (though sadly not always a given). IMO a photo of someone sharing a soft moment with their child just isn't a good tool for the contrast you are trying to make.

A higher form of satire would consist of photos or comments contrasting how the administration talks and how they walk.
