into acting?
I have to confess, my mouth dropped when I saw his athletic ability AND his fearlessness. His ability would be a boon to any fire department. But I am thinking that in these days when the way up the ladder is diminishing for many, maybe this is the time to use such an outstanding skill to break whatever immigration laws that stand in the way. If not in France, then the USA.
The one advantage that France can afford him that might be more difficult in the USA is to provide a community that is easier to settle into, because he won't face the same prejudicial obstacles that are abundant in our country. And, of course, it's Paris.
Would love to know more about our real life super hero.

Beyond that he'd have to work his ass off to compete with existing stunt people. His current celebrity might get him a foot in the door, but to be a career stuntman he'll need to develop additional skills -- including learning English, if he can't speak it -- and begin networking with casting directors, etc.
Not saying it's not doable, but if he wants it he's going to have to pursue it with a vengeance.

But ... his choice. He owes me nothing.

(7,616 posts)Being given French citizenship, a guaranteed job with benefits, well paid, universal healthcare, guaranteed retirement, etc.. yeah sure, trade it for going to the us, in Trumps America where he will be discriminated against, have no healthcare, no easy path to citizenship, risk being shot each time he is pulled by a cop. I could go on.
This does not seem like a hard choice to me.
