In Roseanne's defense ...

Brian Sproul

In Roseanne’s defense, it’s hard to know the difference between racism that gets you fired versus racism that gets you elected President of the United States.

Barr probably thought her racist tweet would be ignored or if it wasn't she could give a quasi-apology and all would be forgiven, as it had in the past.

Thankfully ABC wasn't willing to tolerate her racist bullshit...if only some of our citizens had felt the same way about our Pretender in Chief!

Trump caught the racism issue on the upswing. Roseanne caught it at the bottom.

Perhaps she expected to be basking in a rise in popularity right about now, just like Trump did after every sickening remark during the election season.

I suggest Wanda Sykes or Whoopi Goldberg as John Goodman's new spouse.
and fingers crossed that Trump's role will be recast too with someone classier.
