If Trump were to lose FOX, his base would collapse.

And there are some cracks beginning to appear in FOX's reporting in the last couple of days. Judge Napolitano, a FOX regular, and Shep Smith, a longtime host, have both been supportive of the FBI and the legal process. Yesterday, Trey Gowdy let it be known that the "Spy-gate" was a big nothing burger. If this chasm grows larger, it would be a huge problem for the trump.

We can only hope that enough of the propagandists at FOX will see that the truth is something different from what they have been reporting for the last year and a half about Donald Trump. If that happens, Donald Trump cannot survive.

I don’t think Shep is a liberal, but he does seem to believe in truth telling in his profession. I remember when he was down in New Orleans a few days after Katrina hit. As Bush was out golfing, brush clearing in Texas and telling Brownie what a heckava job he was doing, Shep was there reporting from ground zero. He was bringing horrific sights and scenes from the Superdome and the 9th Ward. After a week or so, listening to his network spew lies about the facts on the ground, he exploded with rage. He screamed into the cameras for Bush to basically get his ass to Louisiana. I will always be grateful to him for that.

We no longer hold that it's immoral to profit from some things, & leading the top of the list, IMO, is the locking up of our fellow citizens. What kind of society lets a private corporation profit from that? The list goes on & on from there, but that one item speaks volumes about us as a country.

If the sponsors decide to leave him, like they did for Bill O'Reilly and a few others, then he might make a change of some kind. It's all about the ad revenues. That's why boycotting the sponsors is effective, but it needs to be used sparingly.

One of the reasons Megyn Kelly ended up at NBC after landing that plum 9 PM slot- the Trump base hated her after she "went after" Trump. If FOX turns on Trump, the base will decry them as RINOs, secret lefties, and supporters of the "Deep State". They will follow him over the cliff, even when FOX sees the writing on the wall. Complete cognitive dissonance.

Their demographics are awful. Whenever the evil Rupert goes away, it will morph into something else. The whole of the MSM is guilty as hell. They all had their hand in the normalizing of the Orange one. The few dissenters on Fox are part of the plan to make them appear trustworthy. I trust none of the media.

Murdoch is no personal fan of tRump. He always viewed him as a grasping, bombastic, do-nothing narcissist, and tRump spent a huge portion of his time trying to impress Murdoch. I believe Fox is only good for the Murdoch brand as long as their ratings stay consistent, but they'd drop kick tRump's ass if they believe he is more of a liability than an asset and, frankly, I think a lot of rethugs are secretly beginning to question whether they can continue to allow tRump to ride roughshod over the rethug party without suffering permanent brand ruination.

Stop making the same mistake. Faux news will have days where they may sound somewhat realistic but they will reset back to "normal" within hours, or a day or two tops.

Their audience panic votes at a high rate and since a lot of them are unemployed (by choice) or retired, they have the time to make calls to legislators all day long.
