Melania Trump Isn't Missing, She's Just Planning a Picnic

It's been 20 days since the public has set eyes on Melania Trump, but don't you worry, she's not gone forever. She's just planning a picnic!

Earlier this month, it was announced that Trump had undergone successful kidney surgery and would be recovering for a week's time. As of Wednesday, she had yet to make an appearance post-surgery, leading some to wonder about the status of the first lady.

But now, her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told PEOPLE that Trump is "doing really well" and is back to work, attending internal meetings and going over planning for events such as July 4th and the Congressional Picnic. However, it's unclear when she'll next attend a public event.

Trump was last spotted with her husband on May 10th when the two helped welcome home three Americans released from prison in North Korea. The Washington Post has called Trump's absence "unusually long," though the first lady has still kept up her Twitter presence:

My goodness, the conservawhackosphere lit the fuck up with wild speculation about Clinton's health, convinced that she had one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. Despite frequent updates and personal appearances subsequent to that minor stumble, the Clinton campaign had to repeatedly respond to questions about the candidate's health.

Now? The Third Lady hasn't been seen in public for weeks. Considering the credibility of the Clinton campaign relative to the Trump administration, why isn't Sarah Sanders being questioned about this every day?

I heard Trump visited her "several" times the whole time she was in the hospital,
none of which was the morning she had the "procedure".

Were it my wife,
I'd be there at the hospital waiting for the news/outcome.
