What @TheRealRoseanne said is indefensible, but angrily attacking a woman who is obviously not well does no good for anyone. Please take a breath and remember that mental health issues are real. The Roseanne I know could probably use some compassion and help right now.

I've only seen two episodes of the new show, the first one, and another where she's hiding, or trying to hide, an addiction to opioids. In the last scene, she unscrewed the top of an ice pack and pulled out some painkillers she'd been hiding. The look on her face didn't seem like acting. Is she a jerk? Yeah, I think she is. But I think Jimmy Kimmel is doing the right thing by showing empathy.

Yes, I believe that there are instances of people who can be racist and mentally ill, but not in Roseann's case IMHO. She's a racist POS. 300 plus years of dehumanization of blacks--being called or compared to monkey's, gorillas, or being compared to animals. Several years ago, Barr tweeted that Susan Rice was a man with big ape balls. Black women once AGAIN dehumanized called monkey's, gorillas, apes, men, just like Michelle Obama still is. Barr took a fucking picture as hitler, holding a cookie-sheet full of of burned gingerbread cookies near an oven. The symbolism there. Racist, racist, racist. Who the fuck didn't KNOW?

Finally, when a mass murderer's been white (usually the case), tRump and his ilk usually say that the person's mentally ill or mentally unstable. Fatso said this about that murderer in Las Vegas. But if a mass murderer or school shooter is black/brown which is rare, they're called animals and worse. When whites are addicted to opioids, you'll hear "It's a shame." and "They need help." But when a black/brown is drug addicted it's "Lock the sob or animal up, and throw away the key."
