A perfect 2019

Wave election in Nov 2018

Dems take large majority of House (

Dems take 51 seats in Senate

Nancy Pelosi becomes SOTH (most likely outcome)

Muller’s report that includes impeachable offenses for trump and pence is released and submitted to Congress the first week of Feb (we already know of more than one actual impeachable offense for both)

By 1st week of March House narrowly votes to approve articles of impeachment for both trump and pence

By first week of April Senate find both guilty

Pelosi becomes first female POTUS

Republicans and right wing extremists go nuts

so... keep hope alive... but reality is conviction and removal are not going to happen this way.

But we all know that the articles of impeachment for obstruction and abuse of office are undeniable and incontrovertible so they will have few options at that point.

no president has been impeached AND convicted in the senate. The constitution was written so that it was especially hard to get rid of a president.

If we win back the House in November, we take control of House in January. Nancy Pelosi is the likely person to become Speaker of the House, she would become President in that scenario of trump and pence getting impeached.

First, nothing in Mueller’s analysis indicates that Pence is likely to be indicted.

Second, the odds of simultaneous impeachment / conviction are non-existent; hence, Pence would become President and would nominate a new VP.

Third, Impeachment would never go this quickly. Take a look at Watergate: it took 8 months from the Saturday Night Massacre to the point at which the Judiciary Committee voted on Impeachment Articles.

Dreaming is nice, but eventually you wake up.
