It's Friday. Have YOU reviewed your plans for what your going to do if we need each other to march or protest peacefully? We have to keep reminding ourselves that an "Unexpected Journey" may occur for all of us soon. Meaning propelling ourselves outside, and to support people who are doing the grunt work. Prepare yourself so you don't back out when you're called on to stand up for the Stars and Bars and everything we hold dear. I'm not sure about you, but, my family and this country gave me everything to be right here, right now. We owe Uncle Sam our Loyal Opposition. As Democrats we embrace education. We read books. We engage society. We know the platform and our inalienable rights. Meditate on it now, so we can march to the rescue. WE will be another 1968. How do YOU want to be remembered 50 years from now?
EVERY protest started w a lone person holding up their sign first. The rest of us are there to support that person, and every one that comes afterward in the same spirit. Singing songs. Holding signs. Walking or sitting arm in arm. The first guy/girl is just as scared as you or I. Reward true dignified and honest strength in those ready to be first and lead the way. Eh?
Please put together a short list of 10 things to put in a back pack. Phone a friend. Tell your parents and family you love them, and get going. We will all look back on 2018 as the 50th Anniversary of 1968. Those of us alive and cogent then,
