Sen Collins on Face the nation....She needs to be voted out, complete sell out.

SenatorCollins says she doesn't support legislative efforts to stop family separation because she thinks the bills on offer are "far too broad." Adds that she supports building the wall as part of a comprehensive solution.

...............................

I want her gone, the people of Maine need to make life hell for her. She has gone completely to the dark side.

...I saw the list yesterday of the 10 or so Democratic Senators who have not yet signed on to Feingold's bill.

This is not something that is negotiable. This is not something that depends on one's state or constituents. This is human rights and I don't want to hear any bullshit about how any of them vote with us 75% of the time or will vote for Majority Leader Schumer or any of the other excuses. This is a matter of being for or against tearing children away from their parents and putting them in concentration camps. If you can't go on record as being against that and in favor of a bill that will clearly do that then I haven no use for you, 75% voting and Majority Leader Schumer or not.

The Republicans did this...not Democrats. And red state Democrats need to win their elections...unless we can get a bill there is o need to risk it. Can you imagine what will happen if Republicans win more senate seats and we don't get the house which is still gerrymandered and won't be a walk in the park. I am tired of seeing Democrats blamed for what Republicans do.

I'll bet the voters of Maine can find someone else who will.

And if you build a wall, Susan, we'll tear it down, just as surely as that other wall erected by a dictatorial regime got taken down piece by piece. You're on the wrong side of history, and we will remember your cowardice in the face of oppression.

if enough of her constituents rise up in protest as they did for health care. We MUST make it riskier for these Republicans in swing-able states to support these outrageous immigration policies then it is for them to parrot the administrations words to the "base". Republicans are more concerned about power and keeping it than anything else. Let's make them own their policy positions in the midterms.

It's not just the wall. As far as I'm concerned, I'd gladly let him build the damn wall in exchange for stopping this filthy policy and reuniting the currently separated families. The wall is just a thing. It won't stop illegal immigration any more than the Great Wall of China protects that country. It's a medieval solution at best.

The problem is that the bill Trump favors would, among other things, stop extended family reunification as an immigration policy, preventing people who are here legally from sponsoring other family members. In fact, it doesn't even provide for the reunification of the refugee mothers with their children.

Anyone who's Republican and either going along with the fascist dictator, or worse, remains SILENT in the face of totalitarianism. From the party that likes to toot its own horn about how much they LOVE the Constitution and ADHERE to it, they're sure having a whale of a time shredding that piece of paper.

King is the one up for reelection this year. Going to using ranked choice voting in these US senate races now, so that might have an interesting outcome if an independent runs. It means the 50% of the vote is required to win.
