As my Great Grand Mother told us upon her coming State Side in 1947. Many of their neighbors were Collaborators. And she said you could not trust anyone. Both Germanic or Jewish,it was total survival day to day.

If you did not toe the Party Line,you knew they would come for you. It took her months to escape and that only happened by pure luck. And as she said,there seemed to be no end to the Stephen Miller types,once used up for Propaganda,they were gone.
