Steve Schmidt leaving the party versus Joe Scarborough "leaving the party."

Steve's not Joe.

Joe has continued to make statements about Mitch McConnell being an honest man, a man of "integrity," as he wonders why he isn't DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, gosh darn it.

Joe keeps reliving his "glory days" in the Grand Old Party.

My personal belief...and it may be accurate, or not...is that "leaving the party" was good political theater for Joe. It was a "bold" move.

Steve's been consistently pissed off and incredulous.

Joe just wants to go back to the good old days. He wants Trump and everyone around him to "do the right thing."

Joe hasn't left the party.

Steve's left the party.

They are involved is some sort of crime. Put them under oath and ask them what was said to the Russian spy master at the GOP convention!

Arrogant, entitled, selfish, delusional. These are words to describe the GOPee before he "quit" and are still applicable today. He still believes poverty is always self inflicted, mental illness is really laziness and wealth is a sign of God's approval.

The only difference between then and now is the racism is an official plank in their platform instead of quietly implied.

He has no credibility. I do agree with his comments on trump, but just follow the money. During election, trump boosted his ratings. Now talking about trump boosts his ratings.

I disagree with almost everything Steve Schmidt has stood for. But he has been a principled politician with beliefs I do not share. trump is a monster that people like both of them created. But Schmidt has beliefs that I do not share but I do respect. Not Scarborough.
