What if Mueller releases a tranche of indictments just as the Senate is taking up a SCROTUS nominee?

And suppose some Senators (obviously RePutins) are caught up in that? Would that help?

Obviously McConnell has been obstructing justice; most likely others are legally liable too.

1. Then it will really be a rush job

They'll be casting their votes as they are taken away in handcuffs.

3. A wink and nod

It would be wonderful to see security wrestling them to the ground as they try to vote!

4. Mueller is a moderate Republican

He probably doesn't care about the SC nominee and would probably approve of him/her if he did care. He also does not care about the election calendar. That is not his job.

The time window for criminal accountability does not match the political clock. Political accountability can only come from holding at least one of the Houses of Congress, and it will be imperfect at best.

5. Mueller's not stupid. He knows the rule of law itself is hanging by a thread.

And if he's a moderate Republican, he cannot be thrilled about the thugs who have stolen his party.

6. Most likely outcome at this point is Mueller issues indictments, Donald pardons, (including himself)

and by the time all the appeals get to SCOTUS it's way to late.

7. I'm done counting on Mueller. It's clear the GOP will do nothing about Trump even if

he drops an indictment against him for conspiracy and obstruction.

They stole a SCOTUS seat, so why wouldn't they want to steal the White House too?
Why would they care about that?

Stealing it all IS their plan.

We have only one shot: winning the House AND Senate this November with the GOP, the Russians and Fox News working together against us.

10. It won't matter

Whoever the pick is he will be confirmed. That's the end of it, I'm afraid. The question Dems have to answer, is this: How would dragging this out through the fall help or hurt our chances of taking both the house and senate?

On one side, I could see it being a huge boost to turnout for Dems, particularly with younger women. On the flip side, if it's undecided by November, you'll have every fundy moonbat from Bugtussle to Bumblefuck crawling over 12 miles of broken glass to vote, potentially blunting any advantage Dems might have with enthusiasm or turnout.

There are a lot of calculations to be made here, and none of them are good.

11. Nothing. It will mean nothing. Mueller could share the pee tape, a murder you name it

They will do nothing. Not one fucking thing.
