Alt-right rally in Portland declared a riot after right-wingers go on violent rampage

A rally in Portland, Oregon organized by Joey Gibson, who is running for U.S. Senate as a Republican in Washington state was declared a riot on Saturday night, the Oregonian reports.

Gibson is an extremists who holds “free speech rallies” to provoke Antifa and other leftists. Today’s event, held near the site of the family-friendly rally opposing President Trump’s immigration policies devolved after police told everyone to go home.

In a video posted by independent journalist Mike Bivins, one of the right-wingers appears to throw a heavy metal trash trash can lid at a what appears to be a much smaller woman.

I've seen before except they have red hats and battle outfits? I heard it's mostly white and got a racist history but I didn't think Alt right was prominent there or are these a small sector of the city population only?
