American woman posing with dead 'rare' giraffe she shot in South Africa sparks outrage

The pictures emerged after they were posted on Twitter by the South Africa-based AfricLand Post website. Accompanying the post, which shows two pictures of Tess Thompson Talley of Kentucky, were the words: “White american savage who is partly a neanderthal comes to Africa and shoot down a very rare black giraffe courtesy of South Africa stupidity. Her name is Tess Thompson Talley. Please share”. 

American animal lovers also expressed horror.

“I’m sick with rage,” said a Twitter user identified as Tom Kay. “This waste of life #TessThompsonTalley is hunting beautiful creatures for a laugh.”

Another tweeter, identified as Jessica Worley, urged people to "name and shame this grotesque excuse for a human being".

The species of giraffe that she killed in not rare, an expert confirmed that it's population is actually increasing. Having said that, she is a heartless beast, I honestly would not care if she contracted an illness and died as slowly and as painfully as possible.
