If Democrats take the House back in November, their current ranking member of the Financial Services Committee becomes the chair of the committee, and has the power to subpoena Trump’s bank records.

Along with Cong Watters, there will be:

Cong Nadler will Chair Judiciary ( the battle ground for a womans right to choose)

Cong Thompson will Chair Homeland (where the ICE policies are created and oversight of them rests)

Cong Cummings will Chair Government Reform ( Oversight of the tRump Administration)

Cong McGovern will Chair Rules (Every bill goes through rules and there is a 9/4 split to ensure the Leadership gets what it needs)

Cong Schiff will Chair HPSCI ( No more Nunes obstruction of the FBI and Special Council investigation and subpoena power)

There will be Democratic Chairs in each Committee

California certainly has a few sins on its ledger. Atonement will take forever. After all, seems to me Ronald Reagan was the beginning of the far right’s latest attempt to take over the country. He made it appealing and seemingly harmless with his communication skills and that amiable old “aw shucks” demeanor of his. That “kindly old Uncle Dutch” thing he had. He put a human face on CONservative extremism. And he energized and legitimized the far right hard-line evangelical movement too, and gave it a “patron saint”.

I’ve long regarded Reagan as the root of all evil. A Trojan Horse of CONservative aggression. All wrapped up in this “harmless and dear” old man with the crooked smile, the fun sense of humor, and the ready one-liner. When he took power in late 1980, I feared that he’d prove to be the most dangerous man in America - because of his considerable gifts in the salesmanship department. He could sweet-talk and sell like crazy, and paint ideas so alluringly that far too man people just bought it all without even test-tasting, kicking the tires, or getting a second opinion. That acting background paid off BIGTIME.

Dems HAVE to "take the House back in November"

But we face an uphill battle.
GOP voter suppression laws, GOP voter suppression programs like Crosscheck, vote flipping, especially in states with "paperless" voting machines, deliberate malfunctions of voting machines in urban (Democratic) areas, causing huge lines outside, deliberately not having enough voting machines in urban (Democratic) precincts, causing long lines, and any other way the GOP can steal another election
And don't forget about Putin, either.

Dems MUST register millions of new voters, including those high schoolers who will turn 18 by November 6, and Dems MUST recruit millions of millennials to help turn out the vote, and get their friends to vote as well.
If we get 8 or 10 million new voters to turn out on Nov. 6, we have a chance,
Otherwise, the GOP will likely retain control of the House AND Senate.

Republicans can only steal elections that are close!
Obama proved this in 2008 and 2012.
