Harvey Weinstein facing additional felony sex charges
Former Hollywood mega-producer Harvey Weinstein is facing even more criminal charges.
The Manhattan district attorney's office announced three additional sexual assault charges against the 66-year-old ex-movie mogul on Monday.
A grand jury charged Weinstein with an additional count of criminal sexual act in the first degree for allegedly forcing sex against a woman in 2006, as well as two counts of predatory sexual assault. The additional charges carry a minimum 10-year prison sentence and a maximum life sentence.
In May, a state grand jury indicted Weinstein on charges of rape and committing a criminal sexual act.
The most serious of the May charges, first-degree rape, carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
