She sent this to my email and asked that it be passed along. So I'm sharing it here and asking others to find places to share it, because it really can help to remind us of who we are and what we can do.

As I watch this...a question comes- What happened???... There are as many answers as there are people I love... And there is SUCH darkness in so many parts of the world... BUT- We can make a difference, and I am so grateful for every one who speaks up, steps up.... all of us who do whatever we can to contribute to a 'brighter day'... even a brighter moment in any day. We'll keep on supporting each other in our efforts to help turn the tide of selfishness, cruelty, heartlessness, greed, 'what's in it for me'......

The children everywhere need us all more than ever.
